NDRW MINUTES OF MEETING
MARCH 7, 2009
President Wyolene Richardson called the meeting to order at 10:10 AM on March 7, 2008 at the Republican Headquarters
at Embry Hills Shopping Center, 3583 G Chamblee-Tucker Rd.
Joy Kolb gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes prepared by Secretary Jennifer Schumm and were approved and accepted with no corrections. Motion
made by Diana Hall, seconded by Jean Warren to accept Minutes as prepared.
Treasurer's Report prepared by Treasurer R. Ann Lewis reflected a balance of $5005.84. A motion was made
by Willi Richardson to accept the report as presented. It was seconded by Diana Hall. The motion carried.
Committee Reports: No reports required as this was a workshop meeting.

Unfinished Business:
Donation of Flag, books, etc. will be on March 12th at Meadowview Elementary, 1879 Wee Kirk Road.
Dictionaries: The blue dictionaries have been updated to include Barack Obama
Food for County Convention - Diana to bring Sweet & Low; Mary Em to bring coffee and cups; Virginia to
bring Creamer.
Volunteers to Serve - Eliana Tyre, Joy and Michael Kolb
Be sure you are working on completing Volunteer hour forms.
Donation to Georgia Tech Republican Group - Motion made by Willi Richardson and seconded by Jean Warren that
we give $100; motion amended by R. Ann Lewis and seconded by Jean Warren to also donate $100 to University of Georgia. Amended
Motion carried.
New Business:
June 17th is day for NDRW to work at the USO.
Joy Kolb made a motion that we consider purchasing Military Bibles for the USO. Joy offered to pay the purchase
price herself. After much discussion, Willi Richardson made a motion to table the discussions for another meeting; the motion
was seconded by Diana Hall. Motion carried.
Announcements:
Tysinger Breakfast Forum each Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
Hear what is going on in the Legislature, with the Board of Education, reports from Judges and various other
subjects. Everyone encouraged to attend.
March 12th - Donation of flag, books, etc. to Meadowview Elementary School
March 14th - County Convention - Tucker Recreation Center
March 16th - Senior Network meeting, Brad Bryant speaker
March 24th - DeKalb Young Republicans - Hudson Grille on Peachtree/Dresden
April 18th - 4th Congressional District Convention at Eagles Club
May 15th & 16th - State Convention in Savannah, GA, Savannah Trade Center
June 17th - Meet and greet troops at USO at airport
Meeting was adjoined at 10:50 AM

and mail.
