MINUTES OF THE MARCH, 2008 MEETING:

NDRW MINUTES OF MEETING

March 8, 2008

President Wyolene Richardson called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. March 8, 2008 at the Republican Headquarters at Embry Hills Shopping Center, 3583 G Chamblee-Tucker Road.

Zeola Bart-Addison gave the prayer then members repeated the Pledge of Allegiance.

Program: Introduction of Speaker: Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John Oxendine. Commissioner Oxendine spoke to us about the many areas of what his office does. His office is open until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and when you call his office, you speak to an actual person and you do not have to “Dial 1 for English”! He told us about a bill that could affect what we pay for car insurance and about other bills currently before the Legislature. If you have any questions, you can reach Commissioner Oxendine at (404) 656-2115.

Minutes of February 9, 2008 were approved with one correction – under Treasurer’s Report, line 3, changed “paying GFRW” to “paying NFRW”.

Treasurer’s Report was approved with no corrections.
